Getting to Know our Members

The Paul Waner Family

 

 

The Waner Family has lived in Choctaw for sixteen years and loves going to the lake and fishing.  Paul Waner was born to Gerald and Mary Waner.   They were a family of five.  He was an Eagle Scout.  He previously worked at Boyd Chevrolet, but has worked at Tinker AFB since 1981.  The family joined the church about 7 or 8 years ago.  Paul has worked with LOGOS.  Sabrina Waner was born in El Paso, Texas to Jim and Jean Oldner.  They were also a family of five.  She graduated from UCO where she received a B.S. in Accounting.  She has her CPA.  She has worked at Deaconess Hospital, Focus Federal Credit Union, and Allegiance Credit Union.    She collects magnets from other states. She has worked with LOGOS, been on the Stewardship Department, is a choir member, and a deacon.

 

 

Bryan is a sophomore at Choctaw High School where he has a 3.75 GPA, plays football, and wrestles.  He enjoys the boy scouts and playing computer games.  He collects key chains.  He is working on the church playground to get his eagle ranking.  He currently has his life ranking in boy scouts.  Bryan participates in LOGOS.  Michelle is in the eighth grade at Nicoma Park Jr. High.  She enjoys singing, drama, and talking on the phone.  She plays volleyball, has been in the drama production at school for two years.  She sings in the school show choir and received a “one” at her OSSAA competition.  She maintains a 4.0 GPA.  At church she is involved in LOGOS, Sunday school, and choir.  She also collects key chains.

 

 

Michelle and Sabrina join Mary Waner (Paul’s mother) and the rest of the family down front on the southeast side of the sanctuary every Sunday after the choir sings.
