Getting to Know our Members

 

THE BRETT MOLER FAMILY

 

            Brett and Julie Moler will celebrate their 20^th wedding anniversary in June. May 5 is “Moler Family Day” at their house. That was the day they first met Matthew and Michael who they formally adopted a few months later.   On 05/05/05, they became a family of five!   They have lived in MWC for 20 years.

 

            Brett Moler was born to Jack and Rhonda Moler.  He has one brother and one sister.  He graduated from Choctaw HS and attended OU. He has a BA in Russian Studies and an AA in History.  He is the General Manager at the Tinker Bowling Center.  His hobbies are golf and soccer.  He collects OU memorabilia.  He has lived in Texas, Alabama, and Oklahoma.

 

            Julie Moler was born to Paul and Joan Johanning.  She has 3 half brothers and 4 step brothers.  She graduated from Putnam City West HS.  She received a BS in Accounting from Oklahoma City University.   She is the Accounting Manager, North American Operations for Wood Group, ESP.  She enjoys singing, reading and keeping up with her kids.  She also enjoys working with children.  She collects angel artwork.  Since joining the church, Julie has been very active.  She sings in the choir, is a new deacon, participates in Lent, and LOGOS.  She is the new Education Department Co-Chair.

 

            Rachael is 16 and is a junior at Carl Albert High School where she is involved in band and drumline.  At church she participates in youth activities and is a junior deacon.  She enjoys drums and hanging out with her friends. 

 

            Matthew is 9 and in the third grade at Soldier Creek.  He enjoys basketball and art.  He is involved in the children’s activities at church.  His hobbies are drawing, reading, basketball, and talking to people.

 

            Michael is 8 and in the second grade at Soldier Creek.  He is involved in football and basketball.  He enjoys the children’s activities at church.  His hobbies besides football and basketball are building things, talking and asking questions.
