Since 1971 Midwest Boulevard Christian Church has had a Christmas For Others Mission to help families in the Mid-Del and Eastern OK County.

With our sister church, First Christian Church of MWC, we helped 72 families this year with clothing, food, new shoes and toys for the 255 children, and Christian fellowship. Santa greeted the children with sacks of fruit and candy along with pictures to keep. Children visited the Parents Gift Room to choose a gift for parents or caregivers. Gifts were wrapped and tagged in order to keep this surprise for Christmas day. The parents were able to choose an unlimited amount of gently used or new donated clothing while the children were entertained with crafts, movies, and a used toy room.

Church members from both churches visited each family before the day of CFO (Dec. 8th) to learn of specific needs the family might have. Through fund raising and donations by both churches and many civic organizations and local businesses, we can meet most of these needs and continue this Mission of Caring for Others of God's children.
